The company is owned and operated by Simon van Zwanenberg, who is responsible for TISOs
commercial and marketing management. His business focus is Training and Project Management.
Simon van Zwanenberg
An articulate and enthusiastic communicator and motivator, known for his perpetual good
humour, high standards and breeding poultry, Simon has mixed tracks in Indonesia, live classical
concerts in Bulgaria, front of house at the famous Marquee Club in London, and recorded in
New
College Chapel, Oxford. He also mixed one of first high-resolution (24-bit/96kHz) tracks for DVD
-Audio, and more recently has manned the faders at the impressive Covent Garden facility The
Hospital, as broadcast Sound Supervisor on various TV productions, and has been awarded his
Certificate in Training Practice by the CIPD.
Simon took the once archetypical route through the recording industry: beginning as a tape-op
at the illustrious Town House Studios in London in the early ‘eighties, leaving to join the newly
opened MasterRock Studios as an assistant, progressing to in-house engineer at the legendary
Roundhouse Studios in Camden, before embarking on a freelance career. Moving on to foremost
console manufacturer Solid State Logic, initially as Product Specialist, becoming
Senior
Operational Training Engineer, he trained clients, engineers and producers from Rio de Janeiro to
Beijing, and was involved in the product development of SSL’s broadcast and music mixing desks.

John Gallen
A chef and entertainer extraordinaire, John is also a highly accomplished
and innovative sound engineer and sought after producer with a substantial
record of commercial and artistic achievement, having been awarded numerous
platinum, gold and silver disks for UK and international record sales. John
was the first sound engineer in Europe to operate a digital multitrack recorder.
1995 onwards: Composing and Producing material for major record label.
1987: Become Artist Manager for new act and formed management agency,
first album achieved platinum sales in excess of
one and a half million units, winning 'Best Newcomer' award.
1985: Established reputation and popularity as Record Producer.
1982: Became independently managed Freelance Engineer on projects in
London, Paris, Munich and New York.
1979: Promoted to Chief Engineer at Roundhouse Recording Studios
1976: Joined Roundhouse Recording Studios as Assistant Sound Engineer.
Chris Goddard
Qualified in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with a thorough knowledge
of analogue and digital technologies, Chris is a natural engineer/technician,
having spent the most of the last decade in customer support/service. A
deceptively fine squash player, with a weakness for air-cooled VWs, he is currently
undertaking an Open University course in Object Orientated Programming.
